Work Area complete and plan for next projects

The past few weeks have been quite an education for me. I finally completed the work area, at least the two important parts; my computer desk and the space that will be dedicated to my reloading bench. In the process, I learned an easy way to make sure power outlets are vertical, a fast technique for stripping hardwood floor edge areas, the big difference between natural and golden oak Danish Oil, and how to set up SMTP and POP mail on LINUX. Neat operating system.

In the last few hours of this refurb project I decided to drag cable TV into the room in anticipation of watching the NY Giants play on Sundays, while I work. I thought last week’s blowout by the Redskins was an anomaly, unfortunately, based on a boring loss to the Patriots, the Giants seem to be in the middle of a long range losing trend. No problem, I’ll have more time for the range.

The next few articles are going to be dedicated to handguns. I have a new pistol scheduled for pickup on October 3, which will serve a component in the comparison between a couple of popular guns. Next will be a follow up article on setting up the new gun and handloading for a more specialized cartridge. Finally, there should be an article on a fix for problem common to SIG P229’s chambered for the .357 SIG.

Thanks for being patient during the work place overhaul, and thanks for the interesting e-mail, comments and questions.

Thanks,
Joe
