Gun control matters little in this election. In fact, neither do: the right to life, tax policy, education, jobs, heath care, social security. This is a crossroads election and, unfortunately, either outcome will take us further away from the basic premises that has served as the foundation of our nation, but one outcome would deliver us to the enemies of our country. I know, it sounds terrible for me to make that assertion, and Lord knows (if I can still use that term without being sued), we have been conditioned to dismiss those making reference to harsh realities, by automatically labeling the messenger an extremist, but hear me out.
I don’t disagree with John Kerry’s position or positions based on some mischaracterization constructed by his opposition. Rather, I have listened to him carefully, directly, and I have examined what he acknowledges as his personal history with some consistency, and I think there are a few very fundamental and easy to understand reasons why John Kerry is not fit to be President. So with his own public acknowledgement as reference –
John Kerry falsely accused, in sweeping terms, Vietnam vets and active duty personnel, of wide spread commission of war crimes. In doing so he sealed the fait of prisoners of war being held in North Vietnam, gave their captures basis and reason for torture and mistreatment, denigrated the sacrifice of dedicated men and women of the armed forces, and contributed to the undeserved negative image veterans faced when returning home. I want this ass to apologize to all who have served.
John Kerry, as a junior officer on inactive reserve status met twice with the North Vietnamese, our enemy, his friends through arrangement with the French, while the war was still raging, Americans were being killed and thousands were imprisoned in North Vietnamese POW camps. I want this ass to apologize to all who have served.
John Kerry misstated his record and service, labeled himself a great American hero, thereby diminishing the sacrifice of others. I want this ass to apologize to all who have served.
John Kerry confessed to war crimes, on public record and with his substantiation. I want him to stop holding himself up as a credible person running for office and to apologize to all who really serve. I want him arrested and tried, based on his confession.
I am not a great fan of George Bush. I do not like the non-aggressive and political handling of the war in the Middle East. Still, would not select a traitor and war criminal to be our next President. This is the first time in my life a candidate, Kerry, is so repugnant I would not invite them into my home or have them near my children and family. I defy anyone to point out a single redeeming quality that would make it reasonable to hold him up as a role model.
I apologize for sounding so vile, so negative, so relentless in defining someone in such negative terms, but it really isn’t me, it is the reality of the subject.
